Research Interests:
- Graphs and Network Science
- Algorithms and Data Analytics
- Optimization and Mathematical Modeling.
I am interested in the theory and applications of network science, particularly in modeling and analyzing social and temporal networks, hypergraphs, contagion processes, and the dynamics of networked systems. Additionally, I develop genetic algorithms to promote interdisciplinary collaborations at conferences. Previously, I analyzed transportation systems and food web networks. I also have a publication on a more theoretical work in graph theory, which can be downloaded here.
Academic Background: I earned a first-class honors degree in Mathematics Education from Lagos State University and a master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS). Since graduating from AIMS, I have actively participated in research and educational activities, including the University of Oxford’s Virtual Mathematics Mentorship Program, the Santa Fe Institute’s Complexity Global Schools, AIMS-DAAD Summer School on Combinatorics, and the Leaders of Africa Institute’s Research Methods Program.
